Details: Atam Devki Niketan , Kidwai Nagar, celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm on 22nd April. Children of all classes enthusiastically participated in craft activities related to earth, trees and vegetation. The students also planted saplings in the school park with the help of teachers and took an oath to provide them water and take care of them daily. Various activities related to Earth Day such as nature walk, hand printing, leaf painting, cycle rally, slogan writing and poster making were the center of attraction. Children were made aware of the importance of Earth Day. They were encouraged to plant more and more trees to stop the increasing pollution and pressure on the earth and were also motivated not to use plastic and things made of plastic.
