Details: Teachers Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the premises of Atam Devki Niketan situated at Kidwai Nagar. The program was started with the singing of Navkar Mantra. After this, the school management committee, the Principal, the Headmistress and all others, along with the entire staff, paid tribute to former President Sarvepalli Shri Radhakrishnan on the occasion of his birthday. After this, many songs, dances, dramas and speeches were presented by the teachers. The special attraction of the program was the ramp walk done by the teachers. On this auspicious occasion, many teachers were also honoured for their significant contribution to the educational and non-educational field. Addressing the teachers, the head of the school management committee, Mr. Nand Kumar Jain said that in a country like India, the place of teachers has always been paramount. Teacher is the framework of personality building. Only a teacher can take a person towards positive change. The credit for the development of a person complete personality goes only to teachers. They inspire us to develop in the right direction. Today, whatever position I am at while serving the society, I want to give the credit of this to all my teachers who inspired me to become an ideal citizen and to serve the society. Teacher is our pride, our honour and it is because of the education given by them that our life is moving forward. Therefore, we paid our salutations to all the teachers. In the end, all the teachers danced a lot to the tunes of music.
